Our house was on the market for five months with no activity, so we switched to Cullen Fisher, and our house had an offer within a couple days of relisting. Our schedule was tricky to find times to go look at homes, and Cullen was available all the time for us, he was very flexible. The property was already under contract but from our brief initial phone call, I knew Cullen was the realtor I want to work with our son in Tucson. We were helping our son buy a house in Tucson, so Cullen had to work with us, the out of town parents, and with our son who lives in Tucson. It was a little challenging situation but Cullen was very considerate in making sure that we, the parents, were updated in the entire house hunting and every offer made, and finally, through the inspection and closing phase. Cullen worked tirelessly with us for 4 months. Cullen also diligently guided our son, a first time homebuyer, throughout the whole process. Cullen was very patient and understanding with him, and that was important to us knowing our son was in good hands. We never felt once that Cullen was the typical realtor who just wants to close the deal and get his commission. He never pressured us nor put us in a situation where we had to make a decision that we were not comfortable with. He was always very responsive to our questions and requests. We had a quick close so everything had to be done in a short period of time but he took care of the stress for us and made it look very easy. We put our trust in him and he did not disappoint. I first met Cullen more than 10 years ago as the owner and lead trainer of a neighborhood Crossfit gym. It wasn’t your average body builder gym full of muscly highly motivated 20 somethings, but rather a motley group of middle age people trying to slow the inevitable decline of our once good looking bodies. From that inauspicious start, Cullen built a gym full of people doing things we never imagined doing at that stage in our lives - some of us became trainers, some of us competed in the national Crossfit games, many of us changed our eating habits, and all of us built a body that looked, and FELT, better than it had in years. Most precious to me personally is that Cullen built a community among that group of people and some of us are still friends to this day. What does that have to do with real estate? Cullen is a community builder and a community is a central part of what you look for when buying a home. He’s also a person that knows how to coach you through what can be an excruciatingly painful and tiresome process and motivate you to not give up and not give in, until you find the place that is perfect for you and your family at whatever stage of life you’re in.

He helped with not only finding good recommendations of houses to look at and see, but also with getting the numerous inspections scheduled and overseeing them once we decided to make an offer. Since I was an out of town buyer he was readily available to look at homes that fit our criteria and lend his expertise on the property. When the right house came along he was quick to get the paperwork submitted and secure our new home. Cullen was a delight to work with and if the need arises would do so again.

He would train me in group sessions and coach me one on one from time to time. Before meeting Cullen and his staff, I had real hang up with physical fitness and gym culture. But his gym was different because of the environment that he built-- never intimidating, never exclusionary, always fun, safe, and supportive. I loved working out there. My time in that gym allowed me to forge a healthy relationship and commitment to my physical and mental health. Years later when my work schedule made it impossible for me to train regularly, Cullen and his co-owner and wife Sara reached out to me to offer a pro-rated refund of my membership. Out of the blue! He could have just kept charging me the full fee and I would never have complained. Instead he offered a refund and a modified membership plan that fit my hectic schedule, because in the end he prioritized my experience as a client and the value of his service over profits. That's just character. As a homeowner in California I'm familiar with the stress of buying, selling, and renting real estate. If I had to do it all again in Tucson, Arizona, I'd want Cullen on my team. That's a no brainer.

I got to know him as the owner of Crossfit 323. There are a number of reasons I spent my time and money at Crossfit 323 and Cullen is at the top of that list. Crossfit was a well run, community oriented undertaking. It was an inclusive, encouraging and empowering place to exercise. And, perhaps most importantly, it was fun. Cullen brought an incredible level of enthusiasm, organization and brain power to his business. Perhaps the quality I most valued was his encouragement. No matter one's skill/ability level Cullen was always reassuring and positive as he considered how best to help you achieve your goals. I sincerely believe he created a unique and studied plan for each of his clients. No small feat! There was no 'one size fits all' at Crossfit 323. Since our time in Los Angeles I've moved to Denver and Cullen back to Arizona. We're in occasional touch - chatting about family, wood working and the nostalgia of Crossfit 323.
